|INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED DISTRIBUTED LEARNING (ADL) AND SIMULATIONS IN NORWAY|
Between May 10th and 12th members of the Military Academy, LtCol Goran Šimić and Major Zoran Jeremić participated at an international conference on Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) and Simulations at Gol in Norway, organised by the Norwegian Defence University College. This activity was organised as a part of a project to develop an ADL center at the Military Аcademy.
The delagation of the Military Academy was welcomed by Rear Admiral Luise Dedichen, Commander of the Norwegian Defence University College, who emphasized her satisfaction with the successful start of the ADL project at the Serbian Military Academy and her hopes for further successful cooperation in this project as well as in other projects our countries have together. Our delegation was guided by Major Atle Svendsen who is the project manager. He also confirmed his satisfaction with the current project’s progress.
During the second conference day, our delegation had a meeting with a representative of the Royal Norwegian Air Force Technical College to discuss the upcoming Moodle workshop that will be held in June in Belgrade.
The conference was attended by 117 participants from 9 nations and 14 exhibitors in the field of ADL and simulations. Other participants showed great interest in the Serbian efforts to develop its own ADL and simulation center.
Experiences acquired from this event as well as agreements about further cooperation in the domain of ADL and simulations represent a significant contribution to improving the educational process at the Serbian Military Academy.
