Military Chemical Engineering

The purpose of the study program Military Chemical Engineering is the education of the Military Academy cadets for the occupation of Technical Service officers – specialties Ordnance and Atomic-Biological-Chemical Service, as well as technology engineers.

Undergraduate studies in Military Chemical Engineering are performed during four academic years (eight semesters). Total number of ECTS that a cadet must achieve to complete this level of study is 240.

Future officers – technology engineers, depending on the selected module, will be able to solve basic technical and technological problems in their initial positions, within a service and specialty, primarily to the level of platoon, which are related to: technology of maintenance and storage of ordnance and technology of rehabilitation of the consequences of atomic-biological-chemical accidents in peace and war.

Accordingly, the study program Military Chemical Engineering is implemented in two elective areas – modules:
  • Ordnance and
  • Atomic-Biological-Chemical Service.
A cadet gains a degree of Technology Engineer if in due time fulfills all obligations prescribed by the study program, thereby achieving 240 ECTS. In addition to a Diploma, a cadet is also issued with a Diploma Supplement, which means the competences for Technical Service officer (specialty – Ordnance) and ABC Service, as well as an engineer of military chemical engineering.
