Cadets of the Military academy the most successful at the student shooting competition

On the occasion of the Students' Day, on April 6, 2019, organized by the sports club of the University of Arts, 14th Shooting Tournament of Belgrade students was held at the shooting range of the shooting club “Novi Beograd Ušće”.

Cadets of the Military Academy dominated the competition by winning 5 out of 6 medals, which were awarded in the discipline air rifle.

Among the students, the most successful was the cadet of 140th class Srđan Matović with the best result of the day of 175 rings. The silver medal was won by the cadet of 142th class Nikola Stamenković with a score of 151 rings. The bronze medal also went to the Military Academy team. The bronze medal was won by the cadet of 143rd class Zoran Nikolić.

The female cadet of 143 rd class Tatjana Hrib triumphed in the competition of female students with a total score of 160 rings. Civilian female student of the third year of the Military Academy Nataša Dragojlović won the bronze medal with a score of 141 rings.

The team of the Military Academy cadets was led by Colonel Dejan Kurtov, technical director of the shooting section at the Military Academy, and Second Lieutenant Petar Nikolić, leader of the expert and technical shooting team of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia at the International Military Sports Council, CISM.
