Road lightning

There are no limits for the Formula Student Team "Road Arrow". "Drumska strela" is the first Serbian Formula Student team whose members, in addition to students from the University of Belgrade, are also cadets of the Military Academy. For ten years, this group of young Formula Lovers has been designing and manufacturing vehicles to represent their university, the Military Academy and Serbia at the prestigious international Formula Student competitions. "Road Arrow", in addition to cadets from the Military Academy of the study program Military Mechanical Engineering and Military Electronic Engineering, gathers the best students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Architecture, Law, Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

In the previous season, the team was focused on improving each subsystem and applying the most innovative design and technological solutions. When it comes to novelties, the emphasis is placed on the uncompromising reliability and safety of the electric formula. It has been applied through sophisticated and innovative solutions, and the main innovation is the monocoque chassis. All-wheel drive has further improved the vehicle's dynamics. In that way, independent control of each point is enabled, and the entire assembly is placed in the rim.
In order to reduce the weight without disturbing the rigidity of the vehicle, the chassis as well as the air package will be made of carbon fibers. The vehicle will supply energy to a lithium polymer battery, which theoretically allows the vehicle to reach a speed of 100 km per hour in 2.5 seconds. These young people also independently designed the entire electronics, including the battery monitoring system (bms), the motor control unit (ecu), the control unit for low-voltage actuators, telemetry and the protection system.

Road Arrow builds its development path through ambitious, talented students who are constantly working to improve the system, perfecting existing ones or finding innovative solutions, whether it is a vehicle or an organization. The future of the team is in the impetus of these innovations, and the successful management of the project, which should provide the best possible conditions for the work and progress of students, as well as the realization of their ideas. The goal of each season is to achieve the highest possible results, and to be placed among the very top of world teams. Although the path from idea to realization is often very difficult and unpredictable, and a team composed of people who deal with completely different areas, if you work hard and believe in the people around you, you can achieve everything you imagine. The road arrow is the best example.
