Centre for Physical Education and Sports
The Centre for Physical Education and Sports is an organizational unit of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities in the structure of the Dean’s Office responsible for the planned and systematic development and maintenance of individual physical abilities and training of cadets, students, the Reserve Officers Course attendants and the National Defence School courses participants for successful execution of assigned tasks in commands, units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces in the field of physical culture. The Centre is in charge of sports activities through the work of military sports associations (sports clubs) and cooperation with institutions in the Republic of Serbia in the field of sports. It is also responsible for research work in the field of physical education and sports. At the beginning of 2019, a Sports Unit was formed within the structure of the Centre, with the admission of eight top athletes from the Republic of Serbia (meritorious athletes or athletes of international class).

ORGANIZATION OF THE CENTRE
The Department of Physical Education is responsible for research work in the field of physical culture and the curriculum implementation at:
- undergraduate and integrated studies,
- reserve officers training,
- NDS course participants training (BCSC, CSC and GSC).
The Department of Sports performs activities related to: planning, organization and implementation of sports preparations, trainings, competitions and events.
The Service of the Centre performs activities related to the development and improvement of the teaching material base and sports infrastructure.

The Sports Centre of the Military Academy has a significant sports infrastructure such as: athletic stadium with a stage; athletic hall; sports centre with a pool, sauna, gym, cardio centre, marshal arts hall, gymnastics hall, games hall; infantry obstacle course; outdoor sports fields and ranges (summer gymnastics range, outdoor gym, small sports fields, etc.).
