Department of Air Defence
The mission of the Department of Air Defense is to educate and train cadets of the Military Academy for officer duties in air defense. The air defense systems studied by the cadets are some of the most advanced and sophisticated, acquired by the military in recent years, such as the "Pantsir-S1" and "FK-3" missile systems, and "GM-400" and "GM-200" radars. The department is part of the Department of Technical-Technological and Natural-Mathematical Sciences of the Military Academy. The department includes two sections: the Artillery-Missile Systems for Air Defense Section (ARJ for PVD) and the Air Surveillance, Reporting, and Guidance Section (VOJIN).
