The 6th Memorial Shooting Tournament "Ištvan Poljanac" was held at the Military Academy



The memorial shooting tournament, which has traditionally been held for the sixth year in a row at the Military Academy in honour of Professor Lieutenant Colonel Ištvan Poljanac, was held in a different format this weekend at the shooting ranges at the Military Academy and the Military High School.
 

On the first day of the tournament, at the MA pistol shooting range, competitors competed in the discipline of small calibre pistol 25m. A total of 20 competitors from 7 clubs competed in the general competition.
The most successful competitor was military employee Dimitrija Grgić with 575 laps, with only one lap less, military employee Jasmina Milovanović took the second place. The third place was taken by the representative of Serbia, Duško Petrov. In the team placement, the first place was won by the team of SC Crvena Zvezda, the second place went to the home SC “Akademac”, while the third place was taken by the team of SC “Novi Sad 1790”.
 
On the second day of the tournament, a competition for students of the Military High School and the Military Vocational School was held at the newly opened air shooting range of the Boarding School of the Military High School. The students of the Military Vocational School achieved excellent results, winning all six medals that were shared in the individual competition. The most successful male student was Jovan Gavrilović from the 50th class of MVS, while the most successful female student in the competition was Ana Stajkov from the 48th class of MVS.
